    My cousin, Danny, is going in for a below the knee leg amputation this morning. 2nd time for him, had the other one done about 10 years ago. Going to be very hard on him and his wife, diabetes is rough. He got around pretty good with one leg and a prosthetic.

    Dr told me if you keep it in check you will never have to worry about it.
    I don’t believe him
    They don’t really know.
    Diabetes is going to get you at some point.
    It’s a matter of time.

    He's had a spot on his foot for several months and it's finally gotten bad enough they have to take it. Hate it for him, he had a kidney transplant a few years ago and was able to come off dialysis. He's been through a lot.
