I won't be touching the truck again until Friday. I hope to have everything done suspension wise Friday and Saturday.
After that. It's complete one mod/maintenance item before moving on to the next one. I get something 1/2 to 3/4 of the way done and start on something else.
I have a list. I really should stick to it so I can complete more stuff. It will also keep me better organized and possibly save me a bit of money by buying stuff I didn't need or buying the wrong item (ditch lights).

(I'm taking a vacation day on Friday to work on the truck)

Morning boys. Hump day. Work has been busy. Funeral etc for my friends dad this past weekend. Today the FIL gets biopsy results and a plan for "moving forward" Hes 115 lbs....and about 6 ft tall...I believe he has given up. He eats the bare minimum and then theres always an excuse as to why he cant do more whether its eat more, get up and take a lap around the living room, etc. Cant help those that dont want to be helped I guess...Just sucks to see someone young (70) and really smart (electrical engineer/brainy type) throw it all away bc shit gets mildly difficult. He also will not talk about how hes feeling or anything, completely just shut down.

 

Disfucking like because of the part about your FIL. That sucks man, it really does.

I am a firm believer that a lot of these things are also treated mentally sort of speak. Meaning if your brain and hart don't want to give up, your body will respond accordingly and help "fight off" whatever it is that's going on. Might not be true, but that's just how I feel about it.

 

Thanks Nuno...I also believe that to be totally true..I mean positivity, unicorns, rainbows, crystals and all the other nonsense wont magically heal the femur poking out of your leg because you feel skiing or something but if your mind and attitude arent right then things are definitely a lot more miserable than they have to be. The mind is a lot more powerful than people give it credit for

Will definitely matters, my grandpa was 94 when he died. Didn't care to do much more at 93 when my grandma passed.

 

One more day and then it's vacation. It's only one day but it's a personal mod day so that's a good thing. My clunk and squeak are even louder.
Going to love the new control arms and the easy grease bushings.

Let's see what it can do on the grease from the CV's when the boots let go. I'll have the fluid film reapplied before Winter because this stuff should remove it.

Same here.
Couple puddles in the metal building, that's it.
Ground is still frozen solid an inch or two down. Have to let the hounds out on a leash with all the mud above the frost..
Got over 2 inches of rain here.

i got past my folding laundry issue by putting everything on hangars. Even the pants.

Take on your closet like you do your truck. Plan it, research available options, pay-once/cry-once, do a double hanging bar.
Everything has a place, your OCD is satiated, all the hangars match & face the same way....
Bonus - the dresser can become redundant & go away. More elbow room for daily living (or more truck parts storage).
