I need to do some research but I don't see why not. 2 questions.

    1. What is this hitch being used for, just trying to see what weight requirement we are talkin about? I assume 2" receiver.
    2. I would imagine you wouldnt want to take off the bumper to use this, is that correct?

@CttAznRanger I looked more into this and we could just add a hitch to the bottom of the winchtray with some gussetting.

Side note, how does he even make any money? High quality and cheap af

It's going to be for a light duty plow, and yes 2" receiver.
    Yeah, keep the bumper on.
I have the full bash plate option, but am open to the option of taking it off to mount the hitch plow. If you think attaching to that spot is sufficient enough strength, then lets do that. We could also incorporate the bolts used for the front skid plate too.
Worst case scenario we could wrap it around the sides if need be.
    I mean shit, that's a great idea.

I would need to look at it to be sure but that should be one of the strongest places of the whole truck. I dont think you'd have issues.

Are you coming on Sunday? Mod day in Lawerence, I'll be there and we could put together a good plan.

I think we could just weld one of these on the winchplate with some gussetting and you should be good. Either tuck it behind the full bash plate or cut a hole for it to come through it.

I use these on my rear bumpers.

Yeah, I can swing up that way for a bit. I'd be there around 9 or so. I'll order that hitch for now and we can use that as the base. Mind sending me the deets?

All I can find is this:
    https://www.thehomeplow.com/
I'd be getting the 26000 one. Or anything that mounts to the 2" receiver. I haven't decided yet.

I also ended up ordering the 12" long 2" receiver. Was 6$ cheaper...

Yes you are. I can also just use it for random shit like a cargo basket or something.
It says 11-14" max and 8.5" max recessed from the pin hole to anything sticking in front of it:

In this case I might just go with the Meyer Wingman, says anywhere from 8-16" from the bottom of the hitch to the ground.
Edit: Their install video says 11.25" from center to ground. The above was from RealTruck

If I were to do this I would tuck the hitch up as much as possible and fix it on the plow end. Think of a drop hitch lookin thing in here.

Yeah, I think we have to do a drop hitch type of deal. The bottom of where the front skid mounts is 16” off the floor. Where we were looking under the bash plate would be like 21”.
