    But, this stuff is special!

Or, maybe it's just regular TP that was being sold in the vicinity of the potty bags. :notsure:

 My head, neck, back…everything hurts just watching that!

At least he used quality rated recovery gear. Personally I would have preferred a snatch strap with some stretch, over a tow strap…but I guess some people don’t mind 20g of instantaneous deceleration. I wonder if his retinas are still attached lol

This video should have been titled "When fucking idiots attempt off-road recovery "

    Are.....

    dumb.

True. Maybe they're incapable of it.

I wonder if it is harder than getting hit in the head with a trailer hitch because you attempted a kinetic recovery with a tow strap like a dumb fuck..

So many moons ago a buddy and I had just taken out the canoe after doing the North Fork of the Flambeau. We were at the Flambeau Lodge, which was a bit of a fishing lodge. The owners kid was using a quad runner to drag a water laden fishing boat out of the water. He tied one end of the nylon anchor line to the trailer hitch of the quad, then threw the anchor into the boat. He took up the slack, then gunned it. Boat moved about 20 feet before the anchor let loose and flew right by his head at about 3 times the speed of death. Missed him by less than a foot.
What does he do? Backs up a bit, tossed the anchor back in the boat and does it again.

I have a coworker that has been here a year longer than I have and is still working the lowest position in the pressroom. He's not a complete idiot in that he's incompetent of learning but he likes to play dumb to get out of work. He probably works harder thinking of ways to get out of work, than if he did the actual work.

I joke with coworkers saying WE are the idiots for working too hard. This guy doesn't do anything and nobody says anything to him.

At home talking to the wife about him, one time.
It dawned on me that he probably goes home and tells people how we are idiots.
Idiots don't know they're idiots, so maybe WE are?

I know that I'm an idiot... does this mean that I'm not an idiot?

Edit: hmmm, I'm not sure If I want to know the answer. :bananadead:

I have two co-workers like that. Thing is... I'm paying nearly 50% more than they are because I actually show up and do the work instead of disappearing and pretending like I'm working when I'm not.

But some jobs you can get away with things. Some jobs you can't.
