Nice!! This makes me a little more optimistic. Pretty much the extent of work involved that I've been hoping/expecting to do for fitment, which isnt all that bad. Did the same for my 1st gen but its got -10 scs's.. But the more I look, I've been seeing mixed results with -38. One guy had to tub his firewall a bit  to eliminate rubbing when tucked..
On a side note, I'm planning on investing in some fend-x liners and splash guards.

I'll rub the fender liner a bit when turned and compressed but not bad enough to warrant a change. However the eat my fender flares when compressed

Anyone purchase and install the 2r kit recently and have any problems with the clunk still? Going to be installing it on my truck this weekend just don’t want to be blind sided by anything.

Not for me. I was getting a little feedback noise from (I believe) my heimed uca's initially. But it seems to have dissipated, then completely went away now. Very slow speed (5mph) over rocky stuff. Certainly not the 'clunk' aforementioned here.. Took her for a spirited offroad trail run to a short 4wd mountain climb, as well as bombing over speed bumps in town.. All rock solid for me. More so than stock setup was..

I did also change the lower shock bolts/hardware too from belmetric as it was cheap peace of mind.. Idk if theres any correlation between the clunk vs click and not sure if they're both related to the lower shock mounting or not. But again, it was cheap and easy. I replaced it after I had a few miles with the oem bolt on new suspension. I noticed no change. Mostly did it as a preventative maintanance measure, regarding the potential 'click' they talk about in this thread.

Totally stoked with how the Eibachs perform.

@NightProwler did you use the sway bar relocation kit that came with it? Seems it’s 50/50 whether people use it or not.

Nope, sway bar was removed during the process. It's not hard to install though. I did put the blocks on but figured I'd see how she did without sway bar first. Didn't run one on my 1st gen, but she was lifted more and thus stiffer up front. Good amount of sway now on the 3rd gen with the eibachs, but not terrible. Was thinking of putting it back on and getting some apex disconnects, but damn they're expensive.

Not really on TW anymore but slow day at work and wanted to update my experience with this kit. Already have 35k miles in just over a year and it's performing just as the day I installed it. I put my Taco through hell, too. 100 mile days most days. Lots of offroad driving.

Reading through this thread helped me decide after some folks at some shops gave their recommendations. So, I wanted to provide some pics and my first day of input:

Eibach Pro Stage 2 kit (1.75") front and rear w/1" rear block installed after 150k miles on oem suspension. New Wildpeaks (265/75/16).

Truck rides brand new again. I was looking to not change the Toyota truck feel but knew I needed new badly and did not want oem. This did the exact job. And the truck looks great too. Goal was performance. I feel the truck got that and got the bonus of looks too. Excellent kit for anyone considering

Has anyone used this with a front bumper and winch?
I have about 220lb added to my front end and I am not sure if the spring rate will be enough to still achieve 2" of lift.

Not a full plate bumper but I have a bumper, winch, a full set of steel skid plates, rock sliders, and camping gear. The Eibachs support the weight just fine. I've got a lot of hard miles on mine. From rock crawling to sand dune bombing.

No one else is having leaking shock issues? First set was installed in the spring of 2022. Replaced both of them in the spring of 2024 due to leakage. The replacement set is now leaking, spring of 2025. I probably put on 15k miles a year.

I've had mine since 2019 and have put over 60k miles on them. Including high speed sand driving (probably got a little air a few times) rock crawling, mud, etc. No leaks on the front. The rear did start to leak after a tree crushed my camper and bed during hurricane helene. I replaced the rear recently with fox 2.0s that I found locally.

I had a similar issue, One side started leaking under 2 years after installation, with only 1 offroad trip on them (a week in Moab). The rest is just daily driving, they warrantied the body/damper swapped it out and 1 year later the other side had the same issue. Swapped them out for 6112's

Figured I couldn't be the only one. Other than shitty roads, I'm not doing anything extreme. One more shot with them, if they leak I'll put something else on.

    AFTER 33 MONTHS...:(

So just under 3 years of having these on my truck (45,000 km), the front struts are leaking oil. Both front struts are covered in grease. Still rides the same but noticed this as the tires were being rotated at the shop. And no, I don't off road. 99% city commute and 1% dirt roads to get to the cottage in the summer.

I’m very bummed as I loved this setup and had nothing but high praise up until about 4hrs ago. I felt obligated to post this so people are aware...I had such good things to say about these earlier in this thread, its only right that I report the bad as well.

We will see how this Eibach “million mile warranty” process goes. If it’s smooth and a one time issue, I will still have high praise. But I am concerned that both failed roughly at the same time and not just one. Tells me that its not gonna be a one time issue unless they changed construction in the later version. I’m hoping the report from the shop and photos are enough to get a new set sent out. I feel it's unreasonable for me to have to take them out and send back first. My truck would be out of commission the whole time. I'd even be willing to pay for a new set and have them re-imburse me after the failed set is sent back and examined. Sometimes I feel companies make warranty more difficult than it needs to be just so people give up on them. I hoping Eibach isn't this way.

When I had mine replaced under warranty for the same issue, they sent a new shock/damper body, and I had to transfer the collar, spring, and top hats to the new ones.

Oh geez...for me that won't be a DIY job anymore if I have to compress these springs...the coils are so tight. Guess its gonna cost me some money this time. How long did yours last before leaking and how is the second set doing?

Thanks for the reply by the way.

No problem I had to have a friend at a shop help with the spring compression. My first one started leaking after 2 years of use (around 20K miles). I replaced it, and it was fine. However, the other side started leaking almost exactly 1 year later. At that point, I opted to go with a different brand.

Does anyone know why the Hybrids are excluded for the 4th gen? I am thinking the added weight would be minimal effect especially since people have many add-ons. Other thoughts, as I have not reached out to Eibach yet.
