No parking would be a blessing for me. Sounds like you are fully staffed unlike my shit show, fellow supervisor retiring last day tomorrow. MR2 has eight working days till his retirement, NOTHING on the board to replace vacancy's. SERS working on numbers for me now can't take it. Down six positions in my shop alone not counting others.

Glad we're not the only one understaffed. My end of dayshift only has 4 guys including me. Other end has 6. Well we got a guy (on my end) going out for full knee replacement on one knee, recover, come back a couple weeks, and then out to do the other.

I'm taking my vacation and leaving my phone on "do not disturb" the entire time...

This shitbox has been sitting in the parking lot of the shopping center in Horsham where my bank is located, likely for longer than the Buick. It has a good bit of damage to the driver’s side (repairable, but easily about three grand), and the inspection stickers expired last month, but it otherwise seems to be in decent condition. I’m thinking that other some sort of mechanical failure (it is a Dodge Journey, after all) and was abandoned; I swear it has not left this spot since last fall!

One of my mechanic’s customers has a Journey with the V6; I forget what year it is, but I believe it’s in the range of 2015-2018 with like 85K miles. It is leaking oil from a part of the engine that is really hard to access, and repairing it would be less cost effective than replacing the whole engine. The owner doesn’t feel like paying to repair or replace the engine, so it wasn’t addressed; Dodge’s attempt at competing with the likes of the Subaru Forester and the Toyota Highlander was an epic failure. Hell, even a Chevy Equinox would be a better choice!

My boss at taxi company is dealing with that with his chrysler pacifica. I told him years ago stop buying dodge Van's but he don't listen. He tried to say I didn't buy a dodge it's a chrysler like what?? Lmao

He must like laying out money for transmission every 6 months

My girlfriend is currently driving around in a rented Chrysler Pacifica at the price of a compact car, courtesy of my employer (Enterprise Rent-a-Car; my boss hooked us up). Pacificas have actually had a pretty decent reliability record with Enterprise, but they get 40K-60K miles over the course of two to three years, which I’m sure is much less strenuous than the life of a taxi. Your boss needs to start buying Honda Odysseys and/or Toyota Siennas!

He has 2 sienna and they are great. One of them has 460k miles on it and still drives like it's brand new. The other one had 500k on it before someone ran a red light and totalled it. He replaced that one with another sienna.

Yea in gotta treat the yard with something. Might try Talstar PL granules in the front and back yard, then scored earth along the tree line. With groups of 10 deer running thru I think I need more than just a border.

@Tatts521 you ever do stuff for lil buggers or just mammals?
