Got some square tube you can grab that's been sitting for 3 years now; not a bit of rust

Just needed a 4" caster with stem mount, but I had to spend a tiny bit more to stay away from those Amazon variants that break easily

 

For sure. To be honest I don't even know what a Vyper chair is so don't listen to me.

 

Freakin dentist dude today spent more time out of the chair than in it, took a 3 hour appointment and turned it into 6 and didn't finish so I gotta go back Monday.

Yeah they have started to romp around to play a bit. It's still an adjustment for her to not get all the attention but that's normal.

Could achieve the same whether you buy a restaurant-style top from most online retailers, or a used stool

Thing is, they're all vinyl topped and the foams used are pretty cheap and uncomfortable

I want something that'll hold up and leather does that well not to mention I got a premium high density foam for it

I'm stoked to get this done, but I don't know shit about leather working

Been lazy about cutting the remaining legs cause I wasn't sure if I wanted to add any sort of "design" or keep them the way they are

So really, cut 4 legs out, buy some small round tube for the stem casters, and I can go about welding it all up

Based on the angle and length I've got the legs drawn up at, the stool mount will sit at 25". Add to that a 3/4" wood mount, 2.5" foam seat, leather, and the metal mounting plate for the acme screw, it should have a sitting height of 30" with 7" of adjustment. So the seat height range will be from 23" to 30".

My current stool sits at 29" and it's too high so I'm aiming for something lower, and more comfortable.

The foam won't ship for another week so it won't be done for quite a bit anyway.

 

There is a 99% chance they were euthanized today. The suspected owner denied owning them, even though they had been seen by another neighbor contained in that yard for weeks. No chips or tags I guess.
