What's the craziest/most interesting/unique item you've ever hauled or towed with your Taco?

I finally made it back to the Ottsville property to pick up some of my scrap!

 

I have to go back next Thursday and cut this stuff up…

 

I got stuck, and was somehow able to get out using my “fake posi” automatic LSD…

This is a $1,500 stove with an induction cooktop and a self-cleaning convection oven that was installed in an $800K house. A power surge did some electrical damage to it, and the homeowner is converting to a propane stove; I got it for free!

 

The guy who gave the stove also gave me some scrap brake rotors, and I used one of smash the cooktop so I can see what a convection burner looks like…

 

Ohh copper !

 

I totally didn’t even think about that! I scrap the elements from electric coil stoves as they are aluminum, but I never bother to open traditional smoothtop stoves; I guess induction stoves are copper!

 

Yep, induction cooking is like a transformer . Uses the magnetic field . Grab those windings !

 

I’ve got a nonfunctional Honeywell portable A/C unit that I got for free; not as much copper as a central A/C, but more profitable than a window unit!

 

I do have snow chains, somewhere, but they’re not that nice!

 

This load included my parents’ old dishwasher…

 

I finally got the last of this shit!
