Going to run some BFG AT KO at 275/70/17 which should avoid trimming/rubbing issues with the 2-3" lift I will install.

Have looked at the MotoMetal 955 and 956 rims, but they come in different sizes" 17x8 and 17x9.
I understand the 6on5.5 and need for at least 4.5 BS, but not sure importance in the offset sizes listed. Tire spec stat for rims from 7-8.5 size so guessing the 17x8 rim would be perfect but listed offset range from:\-12mm, -6mm, 0mm and s high as +18mm.

So which one is good for this tire and not cause rubbing issues on UCS or calipers?

    Thx

So this size will fit with no issues?
What about the 17x9 with the -12mm offset. Do people have issues with these..whats the big difference?

    Thx

There is no difference at all. Both are 4.5" backspacing. The 9" rim is just 1" wider.

Sweet thx, so a tire with the specs for a 7-8.5" rim will work on a 17x9 rim with no real issues?

I wouldn't go outside of the tire manufacturers recommendation, but some folks do without any problems...
