Although, according to my sister, my truck is one of the ugliest assed vehicles shes seen. But she drives a friggin Yukon so I dont value her opinion on that subject.

Small trucks are cars with the ass end cut off.
Big trucks ride like cars. No capacity
I miss old trucks with plate steel step and tow bumpers.
If you swamp a truck over the door sills.
    NOTHING HAPPENS..

    Big day today

    GOOD LUCK

Yeah, I'm gonna be truck-ing with this truck. I've got over 4000 lbs of in bed payload waiting for me this morning. But the mileage has a huge impact on my bottom line, as I spelled out earlier. So I've got decisions to make. My right foot wants the 5.7. My bank account wants the twin turbo V6. Or a Cummins/Powerstroke/Duramax.

That photo of my Tacoma doing the carolina squat is with an 1100# chunk of cast iron in the bed. And mileage improves! On Indiana highways, once you're up to speed and set the cruise, the inertia makes is easier on the motor. Crazy. But you lose steering. so there's trade offs.

    :D

@FlyingWolfe Enjoy your day! Always a good thing when you know you're making good decisions and people who thought they had you by the roots find out they had nothing...

My Fiance just did the same. Came home from Maine and gave notice. Her bosses have been scrambling since. A year too late.

I hear ya. Im looking at heavier duty vans, prob have 3-4k lbs of shit in the back of this thing with all the copper, conduit, breakers, tools, ladders, etc. Can feel her heaving in the turns and heavy when braking.
My payload is only like 1,300lbs on the Tundra. Fine for running to fix a recep or huck a breaker in for a customer with some packouts, but not much good for anything else.

Thanks, congrats to her too. My old employer went through similar. I still get calls and texts from time to time with the old coworker asking work related shit there. Shouldve paid more attention when I was training you bud..
