I meant fusion weld just for tacks, not a full weld. To me, thats like mig tack welding to look like fake dimes - no bueno

I added a couple blue tungsten to my Amazon cart, but havent bought anything yet. I also want to buy some coupons to try. I think i also need to get a dedicated grinder for tungsten

I will add 1/16 filler rods.

I don't really have anything thats thicker than 1/8 at the moment. So maybe ill be starting on the harder side of the scale with thinner stuff. We will see

Yeah still there will be sparks and stuff everywhere. The tungsten needs to be shielded at the temps its at.

Its alot different then mig so thin stuff isnt necessarily alot harder than thick stuff. For me its still pretty easy down to 20 ga. edit I dont really mean easy, I mean its not substantially more difficult than 1/8.

This is an in process pic so it kinda looks like dookie. I made these rockers in 36" sections and tigged them together. 18 ga wasn't too bad. Independent control of heat and filler input really helps

Ordered a denso 210-1084 reman from Rockauto today. $237 shipped, and if I return the core, it will be $141. Hopefully there will be some warmer weather next week, and daylight savings time change this weekend.

I was occasionally having all of the lights flash and scangauge jumps over 15v. But im constantly watching the voltage now. The alternator issue isnt every drive/day

And almost every drive 10-15 min in, Ill get P0157 and/or 137. I have one downstream O2 sensor. I'll probably replace the driver side one, and if i get any more lights ill do passenger.

Also on the docket for the spring is exhaust gaskets and studs (have oem), driver tie rod end, passenger steering rack boot, body mount bushings (have ES kit, but only want to install the rears. I also have a DRT fab body mount relocation, but not even rushing on that install - need more tools for that too)
