Stage 1 leaf pack is designed for 0-300 lbs carrying weight.

    Cheers

I’m looking at stage 1 after talking to them.
2012 dclb with leer topper and minor daily load of recovery gear, minor tools and 5 gal of gas or water.
When do the stage ones start to sag?
    300,400,500lbs?

Same. I have a Icon AAL 1.5", but I'm gonna put a snug top on it (230lb I think), rock sliders, solar battery and fridge (when camping). That s already exceeding the 300lb range of the stage 1 with just the shell and sliders.

They recommended stage 1 after saying you're almost at the range limit with just the leer? What did you end up getting?

Recently installed deaver stage 2 at work on a 2nd gen Tacoma. Access cab 4x4. They had a camper shell. Result was over 4" of lift in the rear lol. With the 2.5" front lift it looks bad.

I still recommend ICON rxt over deaver for the adjustability. Deaver is the best though, when properly matched with your set up.

4" geeze... So would you recommend a stage 1 on a 18 Tacoma TRD long bed with rock sliders and a snugtop hi-liner sport on it constantly. Then for trips added weight of a solar battery, IceCo fridge, 5lb propane tank, 5 gallon water, and random gear-sleeping, cooking, fishing? I have a fox 2.5" in front giving a 2" lift. It sounds like the stage 1 range is met with just the shell and sliders.

It varies. I don't think every deaver leaf spring is made perfectly equal. They claim it's for 400-600 pounds constant weight. If you don't have 400 pounds minimum, then you will get higher than quoted lift and stiffer ride.

Sliders stretch from front to rear. I would divide their weight by half when it comes to leaf springs.

I do lift kit installs almost every single week on Tacomas. It's my side hustle. Have installed them all. I would choose the icon rxt for cost savings plus adjustability.

    I went with stage one.
With are topper it was right at 2.25 and with another 150lb it’s at 2 inches.
Haven’t loaded it down to see were it starts to sag but will soon.
I actually even installed a 1/2 lift block to the rear as I wanted more rake.
The front is about 2 inches
Deavers and accutune both recommended stage 1.
Im wanting to also keep tacoma at light and nimble as possable.
I just don’t get the seriously overloaded Tacomas.I would just get a f250

Are you including the spacer in your 2 inches at 150lbs?

I’m looking at new leaf pack for my 3rd gen 2023. I have an alucab shell at about 140lbs and have been kind of sagging ever since. While camping I’ll probably add another 200lbs to the bed for water and stuff. Now I got a teardrop trailer with a tongue weight of about 150lbs, possibly more and the springs are really not happy but not sure which route to go

About 2.25 lift with 1/2 inch spacer and topper only.
After 150-200 lbs it’s about 2 inch lift.

Some claims of more lift but I bet they had saggy springs.
My truck has 57000 miles and stock rear springs we’re in great shape.

Did you CMC or have any rubbing? I have the 16" pro wheels and can't decide on leaving my 265/75/16s, going with pizzacutter 255/85/16 or 285s and doing the CMC.

Last time I really went "off-road" was in Moab a couple years ago on the 265/75 and they didn't rub, of course. Ran Jax Trax, Hells Revenge, Elephant Hill and Finns and Things. The 32's at 14 psi were flawless...but a little more clearance with 33s would actually have really helped a lot. Didn't have the deavers yet. I was running the HS OR 3AAL with overload removed. Skids/rear bumper/hitch/sliders all took a beating, but I suppose that's to be expected lol. Was my first time ever really "off roading"....and I loved it.

I think the 285 might rub the cab mount flexed out, but no problems around town or anything. Mudd flaps removed. Nitro UCA. I'm prepared to CMC if needed, but no plans to go beat on it anytime soon.
