Anyone in the Phoenix area do small jobs for cash?

I have a lower control arm and an outer tie rod that needs replaced and a local shop is quoting me $1200 including alignment, which I'm good for, but I want to learn to do the work myself. Unfortunately I don't have another vehicle in case shit goes south and I have to come back to it another day, otherwise I would've started on it already.

I'd help but I don't have the time rn and there's another vehicle in hovercraft mode in my garage already lol.

Check with Forza Automotive in Tempe and see what they would charge for that. Surely nowhere near that quoted price.
