ha, I just haven’t driven much the last couple of years. I change it every 12-ish months.

    This and that
I wind it out all the time. Past 4K is when it wakes up. I just can’t help it at stoplights.

With my puppy in the back seat hammock, like grandma.. Without the big headed puppy, well, lets just say I have no issues hitting 6K... lol
And since I also drive with the ECT PWR button on all the time, it stays above or at 2K most of the time...

But I also don't put many miles on it being retired now, so I will change it 6 months just cause most of the time I am only getting single digit MPG due to idling a lot..

    Shooooot!!!

    I don't even drive 5K in 6 months!

My job is 5 miles away and I may do 12-17 miles per day.

We drive my wife's car (2017 Elantra) on longer drives at the weekend.

last year my insurance sent someone out to read my odometer because they didn’t believe I only drove 842 miles. I was unemployed, I didn’t go anywhere.

    That's Crazy!

    I have a story too.

My vehicle insurance increased this beginning of 6 month period...which reminded me to adjust my annual mileage for both vehicles from 10K to 5K.

That dropped my 6 month balance somewhat...but it was still a slight increase.

I've only put 1,300 (exactly just confirmed) miles on mine since the end of August, 6 moths now.... Bought with 12,130, now has 13,430 on it...

    OMG!

Corn Dogs were a Staple in Elementary School for me! (LAUSD)

Of course, that was back in the mid/late 70s so they made them super special back then!

I love Friday's!!!!

    Thanks Rix!!!

EDIT: I change my oil every 5K miles and I've not had a corn dog since I left L.A.

…I regenerate my oil by putting it on jacks stands and let it run in reverse for an hour.

I'm actually considering a cheap Chevy express build for camping with my wife... The Taco seems too far a stretch to get my wife on board... Then again so does a van.....

I'm on 5-6k intervals. I'm running a 4cyl and it seems to consume oil (since new) on longer (10k) intervals. I put roughly 20k per year on my truck and oil is the cheapest maintenance, so every 5k miles seems good.
