$5,500 is my guess. Unless you burn it first, accidentally :spy:

Needless to say, I am a living guilty of that :anonymous:. I am not hoarding stuff and detest clutter, I just keep thinking that I could repurpose, repair even replenish when needed with these so called oddments.

Asbestos is a breathing hazard, but not while it's burning or in ash form. Just sayin.

Bonded asbestos ( non friable) is low risk and can be disposed as a solid waste. Asbestos tiles and siding don't require the special handling that the insulation version does. Like any construction debris, breathing the dust is going irritate the respiratory system. Wear a dust mask.

There is a landfill close by that takes asbestos....I'll see what this guy quotes and make up my mind from there. I'd have to clear all the way around the house to tear it down with the tractor.

When we took the siding off of my grandma's house it was asbestos tile. We wore dust masks and kept it wet by spraying it with the garden hose to keep the dust down. So far 20+ yrs later I don't have mesothelioma. That I know of:anonymous:

Our local dump simply accepted it as construction/demolition waste
