Just renewed my truck’s registration for 2 years. $292!!

 

Ugh!

Not trying to upset the apple cart but...

I renewed my wife's registration for 2 years and it was just under $100.

Of course, we're talkin' Delaware here...not as populated as MD.

Our eldest lives in Middle River and gives us the scoop on things peculiar to MD.

 

Wow that’s not too bad at all. Yeah it gave me the option for a 3 year renewal which was well over $400 and I almost lost my mind lol

I just went with the 2 year since it was the middle option.

 

My wife started "Savings Challenges" for us and recommends setting aside $$ per month specifically for expenses like this.

In 2 years, you can put away $20/month and have $480 for the 3 year renewal.

I'm starting to talk like my wife now!

 

That’s not a bad idea! We do a similar thing a call it our vacation fund. It ends up being money we use on our one big road trip each year. It works out very well.

 

I do a similar thing through my work… I think they used to be called Christmas Savings Club, but guess we can’t say that these days ( ). Now they just call it the Savings Club. I max it out with $50 per week. It earns interest, but very little. You can also cash it out at any time, but can not enroll again until the next year starts. It’s nice because in a way, I have no access to it.

 

Wait there’s more to come. Emissions testing is going to double in price.
I renewed mine for 1 year $133.

 

at least it's erry 2 years so $24.00 aint too bad I reckon...

 

and for all you trailer owners out there...go to Staab Agency prior to renewal and get you some Maine tags....single axle trailer $215.00 for 12 years, Md for the same period would be $546.00..no brainer....

 

Thought this was interesting, not that I’ve eaten anywhere in Frederick.
