Have you read Moulton's abridgement of the Journals of the Lewis & Clark Expedition? One of the greatest adventure stories ever told because it is true.

 

They never mentioned that one in the crappy schools I went to.

Arthur C. Clarke was another great sci-fi author that I loved to read.

 

As well as Asimov, Bradbury and a host of others.

 

Moulton's abridgement is the most recent of The Journals and would not have been around back in the day.

I just finished reading a book. It's called.
"Kohler on Strike Thirty Years of Conflict"
It goes into great detail about 2 strikes at the Kohler Company. The shootings, the congressional hearing. I always heard about those strikes because I grew up in the Sheboygan/ Kohler area. I just never got the whole story.

 

I've always said that if a book is good enough they will make a movie. So far, I don't think I've been missing anything.
