I think speed related because revving the engine at idle doesn't cause it.

I’m not sure if it’s the same thing, but I would get an annoying buzzing bass noise at lower rpms. I bought a Carista OBD2 reader and turned off the Engine Sound Enhancement (ESE) and Active Noise Cancelling (ANC), and the sound has gone away. I think it was the ANC, as I first de-activated the ESE and the sound remained. Seems like it gets stuck in a weird state in certain low RPM scenarios and makes the buzzing noise

Try to hold the brake in drive and slowly increase the RPM's. If you hear it, it could be a heat shield on the exhaust, or a loose catalytic converter inside the cat. body. Try hitting the exhaust with your hand near the cat's and listen. I have also seen an A/C line or something attached to the firewall vibrating. Good luck, I'm chasing marbles in my dash.

I have the exact same issue in my brand new one. Did you end up figuring out what the issue was?

My mysterious rattle noise turned out to just be the passenger side seatbelt clasp vibrating against the pillar.

It’s not the plastic where the dash mounted JBL speaker is supposed to go?

Can you even do that? Most of my cars made after 2010 all cut the throttle when you hit both the brake and the throttle and none of them were Toyotas. Toyota didn't invent "accidental acceleration," but they sure did get bitten by it. I'm pretty sure they were among the first companies to implement the brake-throttle cut behavior because of that.
