We are going to the Apple Store...guess which phones? lol

I know there is controversy in the world with just about everything lately...so hopefully, you're not despising our decision.

 

We like visiting up north...daughter + son-in-law live in Wilmington near the Zoo.

Sounds like an interesting place to visit in the Spring.

 

I looked at the new 16e yesterday. Bigger than I’d like.

 

We're getting the iPhone 16/128G--the lowest priced and roughly the same size as our current iPhone 11.

Also, getting $130 trade-in for our older phones...we've had current phones for a while and outgrown the 64G storage.

 

Oof I understand the storage thing. Apps keep getting bigger. I have something stupid like 20,000 photos on my phone so I understand the storage problem. More storage is the only reason I’d upgrade right now as well

 

Just got home from Apple Store/Christiana.

Of course, I had to get home quickly since I have Work Stand-by Phone...had to verify/source a part number and confirm.

Anyway, this is a nice looking Phone!

We just need to get protective case and shield protector from other than Walmart/Target...maybe TJMax/Ross/Burlington?

If all else fails, Best Buy.

I'll try and enjoy the rest of the day until we go out this evening.

It's gonna be a slow wake-up day.

I have meal prep to do...which I'll wait until later to prepare.

I've also got to clean/change litter for 2 kitty boxes.

I've had my coffee and pastry so I should be good to go! lol

Aww man today looks like the last day with lows below freezing on the 10 day forecast. I’m getting excited

 

Time to start prepping the yard...which includes clean/aerate/pre-emergent herbicides.

Lots of twigs and leaves accumulated...then I can use aeration tool to loosen the ground...I need to buy one since this will be my first time.

I definitely don't want the weeds infesting my grass...so I'll put some Weed/Feed down after aerating the ground.

I've never aerated my yard...looking at this...I'll need to get a cinder block too!

Then put down the triple action weed/feed.

 

Welp, got my chore done...cleaning the litter boxes.

I had to run up to PetCo to refill the litter containers...which takes 20 minutes one way to get there even though it's only 8 miles away from our home!

Wife was helpful in that she did my meal prep...Bonus!

I got a Gastro appointment tomorrow to go over my labs...which I printed out in case my wife asked for them...guess what? She Did!

My numbers improved but I still have work to do...cutting out those Saturday pastry runs...at least, not doing them as frequently.

As for the new iPhones...all went well. I got a 10% military discount thru Id.Me and had the phones delivered to Christiana.

We also got $130 EA (trade-in) for our iPhone11's so that brings the total down a little bit.

$799 Regular price, phone purchased for $746 (discounted total) and subtract the $130 and were talking $616 per phone.

We bought Apple Care for like $137 per phone and that brings it back up to $753 per phone--we're happy with this upgrade and insurance for our phones.

 

Sounds like a productive day!
