Nice you got rain! Need to check with my brother in Fullerton

46° F here. Light rain. Medium wind mostly from the northwest swirling up and around from SW

Pup lost 4 baby teef in 2 days. We hear them fall on the hardwood! Finally leaving the cats alone for extended periods. We did have to use a Sprenger collar which she 200% respects. Episode 3 of college today. So easy to walk now!

I made as steak stir fry last night. Wife gave me kudos. Nice!

Morning boys. Already 69* outside heading up to 78*. High tomorrow in the low 50's. Yard work on the agenda for this afternoon. Gotta get out and enjoy the nice weather.

    Afternoon all:

    Sue!

EGGS :annoyed:, prices based on supply and demand :crapstorm:!
The egg shelves are completely full at our local store, wonder how many are going to get thrown out after they go past the expiration date due to people not buying them due to current prices.
I don't see any egg shortage, at least not in our area, just a bunch of greedy egg producers jumping on the gravy train! :(

Just got done turning clocks ahead, then need to turn them back again in the fall, then ahead and back again and again, wish they would do away with that nonsense!

The guys babysitting the hens and collecting eggs probably have less control over prices than the middleman or the retailer, even though they are the ones most likely to feel the loss of a barn full of birds or even several barns.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Much of my experience with air-cooled VWs came from this:
    20230901_212140a.jpg
Though I did have a '70 Beetle and my ex had a '71 Ghia. It was a shame, in a way, that racing took up too much time and budget to do a proper restoration of that Ghia, it was a blast to drive!

Gr-r-r-r-r! WTF time is it? I purposely don't reset the nightstand clock, or the one in the Taco. Just my way of silently protesting. Maybe I'll reset them when I get a round 2it, maybe not.

Good morning. A cool 28° here this morning. I am healing quicker than I thought i would, the Physical Therapist is happy and I notice improvements evey day. I am fully migrated from the walker to a cane now. This week will have higher temperatures and I plan to take a small walk around the cul-de-sac. Made my breakfast yesterday and processed a decent size salmon filet, one for dinner tonight and one for a future dinner. I have my wife doing more in the kitchen and she is a quick leaner. The swelling in the knee is getting less and the knee is able to bend back further. I have also made improvements to getting the knee to a 0° position, both are equally important. I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I am going to try and watch The French Connection today.

There are a few of us up early this morning. Cat woke me up demanding to be fed. I made him wait an hour, no need to cave into his demands.

I work on the bending, in different exercises, evey hour. The swelling doe hamper a lot of the movement but I push the leg to bend even futher.
