The last time I was around a bunch of girls trying to party there was hair extensions left behind and confusing requests for baby powder.

I would rather stay behind and enjoy a nice unmoving beach with endless cocktails.

 

I think I'm the odd person out that would like to have total and complete silence by myself for a week

Been thinking about life and my career lately. Spent the entire morning looking at post military career choices. Did a personality test and it gave me jobs that would align with my personality and likes. Most of the jobs were really cool and my degree worked with a bunch of them. Park ranger and forestry stuff was in my search results. My degree aligns with those as well. I’ve been volunteering with the national park service.

The odd thing tho was I logged into an outdoorsman forum I haven’t viewed in years and here was the post I created in 2017.



It’s weird to think I could have been passively working on this for the last couple of years and not even realizing it.

 

It's not odd. It's gloriously peaceful.

My favorite thing is getting up in the morning while camping and finding some spot far away to enjoy my coffee while everyone sleeps in.

People missing the sunrise and the fog and all the pretty silence.

 

I've gotten to the point of any little noise or the such irritate me if someone else does it. Probably a chemical imbalance or something

People tell me it's going to be sad when I die alone, but I've just gotten to the point of I'm comfortable with that...

 

You don't have to die alone. You just need to make sure whoever you live with chews with their yapper closed and clips their nails as far away from you with the doors closed.

But I've got friends who are single forever and prefer it that way vs inconveniencing their preferences. Do your thing
