Probably a Secrets resort just about anywhere but I've been trying to return to Costa Rica for years.

Day two of visiting Mom.when I got here she was asleep. Has been feeling lousy. She’s woke feeling a little better and we are watching tv . Glad I didn’t leave before she woke up.

I was at the damn track and Stock Jr saw my truck so he called me and asked if he could make my day a million times better. So I asked how the hell you planning on doing that? He says he figgered if I was to help him remove some rose bushes from his front lawn that my day would be brightened incredibly.

So I did.










I'm gonna remove all them rocks next week with a shovel and sum buckets.

 

I lived in Costa Rica for a month back in 1982. It was epic. San Juan and traveling around to the coast. Conversion was 48 Colones to $1. It was part of an immersive Spanish Class after 3 years of classes. Did you manage to try iguana? We had it as part of the tapas served with our beer.

Im going to start looking for an all inclusive vacation in the Caribbean somewhere for 2027 . That will be our 40th anniversary. God I’m old

 

My father worked on Nassau back in the late 70s and I spent a couple months there… gorgeous. I’ve heard the whole commercialization went insane… but still gorgeous. Pretty much anything in the blue waters is impressive.
