Driving around the GTA, I notice a car or truck ahead of me with only one working brake light, 1-2 times per day. Often, it's just the centre brake light working. Does this help save fuel by using less electricity?

 

There's a lady at my work named Micheline. I would not suggest this name.

Blame it on shit GTA traffic, where brake lights see higher duty cycle per kilometer than elsewhere in the country, so bulbs burn out more frequently.

 

Fair observation. Last summer going west on Danforth Ave., this newish Civic ahead of me had no brake lights (which I found out quickly). I tried telling the driver about this as I drove around him but he became hostile and suggested I mind my own business. Let the next driver deal with him.
