The one time I went to kwik trip for a wash was a waste,
my truck is a DCSB with cap, wash stopped at the rear corners never touching the rear window or tailgate & the rest of the truck wasn't very clean.

This one time, at Band Camp:rofl:
At a car wash at Sheboygan Chevy dealership, the wash jammed up. I was able to get out and go to the main building to get help.

I spent yesterday and last night boozing with an old buddy in the Sheboygan area, so after a nap when I got home this morning, I had to get out and do something in the great weather. I got an oil change done on the truck and removed those pesky front mud flaps. Curious to see if my tire rub driver's side goes away or if the mud flap was protecting the plastic trim from getting ripped off...

The switch for my LED bed lights was also acting up, so I removed that and ordered a replacement. Glad to be somewhat productive today.

Oh, I also replaced my oil drain plug with one of these doodads: https://a.co/d/dih7vka

    PXL_20250309_195343125.MP.jpg

In the package I was concerned about how much it sticks out from the oil pan, but the skid plate definitely covers it with plenty of clearance. Looks and feels like a quality product. I'll find out how it works with the next oil change.

    Thank you!

Yes, I have a generous 2 inches to spare - thankfully my measurements before purchasing were correct

This is my 3rd or 4th vehicle that I've used a valvomax on. I will be a lifelong customer unless given a reason not to be.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I have a Stahlbus, which is very similar. I like it a lot.

I started mounting my side lights on my rack today. About half done, then a few hours to make the wiring harness and hook them up.

I don't disagree - sadly I won't really have much PTO to spare this year, with my Alaska trip happening in July.

Coding is one of those things it’s decent at but anyone who’s good at coding knows 90% of your code is finding someone who did it before and copying it so it makes sense why it’s decent lol

Automatic car washes are usually somewhere between mediocre and scratch up the paint.

I use the pay and sprays. Lot better results for the same or less money. There’s plenty of ones around here with heated bays too

The ones around here all seem fine. I've never found an automatic that was effective against anything heavy, though.

I only use the touchless ones.

I like them for after trips. But, I tend to spend $20 or more every time blasting off the mud. That's why I finally bought my own pressure washer last year.

We are in one of many false spring moments. To early to get out hoses and power washer. Just complaining...
