Come to find out he actually packed the tire mount and hardware. Some how the shipping company ended up putting my order on a different pallet and probably lost thr hardware and mount. He is sending me everything else that I should have got and making a claim with the shipping company. We will how long it takes to get the rest of my order. This has been a nightmare.

Finally got my refund processed through Paypal, very glad I held strong and did not close the claim early. Very frustrating experience, I think he did a good enough job pissing me off that I'm crossing OGS off the list for any future parts and I would caution everyone I know to stay away.

Nice. I got my order missing a ton of parts. I do have a tracking number from FedEx that says I have a package arriving tomorrow. I'm hoping it's everything that was missing from my order. If it is it's off to powder coat. The bumper and swing out looks good and solid. I was missing the hardware, Dual jerry can holder, bed caps, tire mount, and the latch. Geez......this has been so frustrating.

Their Google Maps page says 5am to 2pm Mon-Fri, but I have no idea if that information is reliable.

Week 8 for me. Sent an email asking for status. If no response by end of the week, I'm calling my credit card company.

Sent an email and no response yet, not surprised. I'm going to call my CC this Friday if still nothing.

Update: I just got a call this morning and was told that my bumper is ready to pick up. I'm hoping to pick it up this Saturday if possible.

So I picked up my bumper today. I'm actually pleasantly surprised with my interactions with the Joe and the business. I know that's not very common on this thread. He kept up to his word at 8 weeks and replied to all my emails. He also arranged for a pickup time outside of his operating hours due to a conflict with my work hours. He explained to me of the growing pains and issues that had caused delays to past customers. I think I would be a repeat customer if I needed anything.

You must be one of the lucky ones. I have heard he is super nice in person. But damn. Commination skills are key to owning/ running a business. He still owes me a latch for my swing out. I went ahead and ordered one directly from e3. Another 250 dollars. Even e3 emailed joe and told him to refund some of my money. Joe told me originally e3 will be shipping my latch. Got ahold of e3 and they have no orders or outstanding orders from outgear.

I believe so. I have a small bag of bolts, the brace, and power steering line relocating brackets.

Here’s the thing though. He may be a good person, but a good person running a business poorly is a bad businessman.
Word gets out as we’ve seen in this thread, and now his public image is that of someone who can’t run a business effectively and seems to be just taking people’s money and can’t fulfill orders.
Sure, that may not be his intent, but in practically and perception that is exactly what’s happening here. The court of public opinion and experience has dictated that this guy and his business feels scammy and should therefore be avoided.

No, I'm painting it myself. I bought Self Etching Primer and Bed Coating Spray off Amazon.
