New diffs are way more expensive!

You aren’t running a sc on 35s… yet.

Oh there will be some mods all right
While that is true, diffs, Toyota diffs specifically, are fairly robust, so as long as they are full of some sort of gear oil, especially oil changed on a timely basis, they are fiiiiine.

Neither of you hold on to a vehicle long enough for damge to happen.

Might as well put the cheapest stuff in.

I ran my 1st gen over 200k and never changed any of those.
    Nothing ever happened.

Edit. I take that back. I had to change the rear diff fluid when an axle seal went bad.
Most likely used whatever Wal-Mart had to offer.

@LarryDangerfield barely keeps his long enough for an oil change let alone any other maintenance

    That was a Tacoma, though.

Installed the ditch lights today, the guys on the forums are liars or I have bad reading comprehension (jury is still out on that) because I swear they said you couldn't fuse tap a 2020 because the high beam circuit is always hot. I now have the ditch lights coming on with the high beams via a fuse tap and the driving lights in the fog location coming on with the high beams via a BriteBox. Just need to get them adjusted properly and should be good to go. I will take and post pics once the road conditions aren't so bad that they dirty up your vehicle 17 feet from the exit of the carwash.

Lol the ground is much too wet from the recent mini blizzard plus the warm temps today. Once it dries up the skid will definitely be going on. Also I was waiting to install the skid until the gear oil shows up so I don't have to put the skid on and then remove it right away.

Over in those parts you just pull around behind the shed and pull the drain plug.
