Looks like 255/70R18 and GX wheels might be a winner, a half step between OEM tire size and 33"s, and you can stick your hand between the cab mount and the tire at full lock. I think I would run out of space in front first if I tried to hit "no cut 33s" though.




They don't look too far sunken in with the higher positive offset either:

I had no choice, it just came that way.

And I've softened in my old age, I still prefer not to, but it's not the same slick oily crap it used to be.

 

Those look pretty good, almost color matched.

 

I'm a big fan of this stuff, it just gives it a clean matte look.

Also zero regard for what that taller tire is going to do to the finely tuned aerodynamics of the truck! Maybe we are seeing a new, softer @Nitori ?

Your own cnc shop?

 

Kinda.. Will have equity co-ownership with family and their new shop. Coming in to help grow the business, bring in new tech and capabilities, take on more complex jobs, help with quoting and engineering, etc. Will be the V.P. of Operations essentially. About a month or so out on it. Need to finish up projects here and wanted to give my Boss a good amount of time to find a replacement, etc. Will be able to start up my LLC and start making my parts as well. Truck parts, Camper parts, Gun parts.. Long term goal is to start making our own firearm accessories (mounts, risers, adapters, etc). Looking into more additive manufacturing as well.. with dreams of suppressors.
