Mine do not open. You could probably ask the seller if they can customize to a window that will open

Which seller did you get this from? I've been looking for one with a sliding front window.

The ship was supposed to be at the port on 1/25. Any idea how many days before you got a call from the shipping company? I feel like I'm getting close now!

Should be close. I remember getting a call about 13 days after I found out that the item is at the port.

Shell made it here in one piece!

It looks pretty solid. I've got it bolted together and my brother in law is going to help me test fit it.

Once I take it off, I'm going to remove all the bolts and then put it together using the double sided thicker tape (right?) and then the final picture is of the seal on the bottom. My F250 has 3-4" of bed rail, so I'm wondering if it's too small...really hoping to get this on and water tight.

For the final step, I just use some masking tape and run some silicone in the 'joints' were the seal is going and then just wipe off the excess? I guess I could just test it and see if its water tight without the silicone...thoughts?

Have you had any issues with the side sliding windows leaking water? By the way your truck looks great

Yes, but only one of the sliding windows is leaking. I am currently not sure how to seal the sliding window.

Anyone taken their through an auto car wash with the brushes (not a touchless)? I'm a little gun shy to get it scratched to heck.

I have taken mine to a carwash with brushes. It was okay. No issues at all.

    So update on mine:
I made the deal. They were pleasant to deal with and easy to work with.
Did the measurements and after they had them, they asked to confirm, then asked me to confirm again.
Originally I was supposed to take delivery last week of March first week of April.
I got a message today that it will be hopefully the end of April.
So I'm pretty disappointed at this point, a 4 week swing is really annoying.
Time will tell how it all comes out. I'm trying to stay hopeful.

If your sliding window is like rsi smartcap the window seal should be easily removed. One of mine leaked and I noticed a small slit at the bottom middle of the seal. I pulled itout and put that slit at the top and leak is gone. Just some food for thought.

I will check it out. Do you have a picture of the top where put the slit? I wanted to see how you did it.

Ok so heres my window you can see rsi had a molding clip that comes out and allows the window to be removed completely. Then theres a pic showing the slit in the window seal. The gray seal easily pulls out of the frame and if yours is the same just pull it out and spin it to the top and put it back in. This solved my leaking window. I suppose you could also put a dab of sealant on the slit too.

Thanks. My sliding window is different from the rsi and it is leaking on the bottom left of the window.

Has anyone thinking of painting the camper shell to the same color of your truck?
