Howdy everyone, my first post on here. I just bought my first Tacoma, a 2012 TRD sport. There is a soft topper on it, as well as a Pelfrybilt high clearance front and rear bumper. The rear bumper has a swing-out rack with the spare tire and Jerry can on it. However, the spare tire and Jerry can block the view of the back up camera. It’s also pretty difficult to see out the rear window of the topper.

So my question is, has anyone removed and rerouted the backup camera to a spot lower on the bumper? Is this possible to do? Thanks for your input!

So I did relocate a backup camera but i added an aftermarket one with a led rearview mirror and dash cam. I attached it to my swingout on my ATH high clearance bumper. This one was the one i purchased.

Thank you! I should mention that my backup display shows up in my rear view mirror
