i should take some pictures of the parts we get in at work. most of it, you can see exactly how it laid on the table from the cut angle/dross, and where they led in/out of the piece. those 'poor' pieces would be clean in comparison.

Making those timber brackets finally, the customers schedule got delayed so he just said get them done whenever. Cool guy.

SWAG HD 20 ton harbor freight unit made pretty quick work of this 3/4x5 flatbar.

In any event you’re a walking talking case study for Langmuir. That’s impressive.

I will say though, a ton of people in this forum have trusted me to make them a bunch of parts.

    That or signs and stuff.

It's forced me to dial my shit in tighter than tight, even if I'm already OCD in that way already

    so good!

I am so close to having this thing up and running. The amount of time it has taken me to get it together, get the missing parts, the right parts, etc is kind of nuts but I think it will be worth it. When it’s time to fire it up I will be studying your videos for sure!

Cardboard templates provided by customers are the best.

Same customer that got a bunch of those brackets a week ago where I was comparing cut quality to another seller.

    Here's one installed -

Those mini bikes are such a dangerous project. Parts are cheap and plentiful.

Two coworkers built some. One hits 70mph. He's into it for less than $2k...

    They look fun as hell!

Looking at his build (the one on the right that's cut off) as well as the customer's on the left, it's like holy shit...aside from the tube frame, I can easily cut/bend/weld every other part of this whole setup for cheap.

I left him with a little bit more to think about for me to make after I saw some parts that could either be, put together better, or added for certain aftermarket goodies.

The long parts are just to extend the whole setup.

Be happy to make plans available if he decides to go that route and "blueprint" it out.

I'm honestly trying to avoid it.

My issue isn't the initial cost or the standard upgrade path. It's my upgrade path that would spiral. Cheap projects always turn into test beds for my hair brained ideas.

Rear swing arm, full lighting, front fork, front/rear discs, small turbo, plus all the typical CVT and engine mods. Basically a self-built turbocharged Grom. And Grom's are $3k-ish. If I ended up under $8k, I'd be shocked. For something that's not really even street legal.

    For sure!

I know you sell them hence why I won't ever post them for sale :fistbump:

But when I got done cutting the AF sign I was like..."what should I cut from the rest of this steel?"
