I did once have a Pontiac Ventura that my brother dropped a 455 into. It moved.

Between finding a place that turns rotors & the price of doing it, it's cheaper to buy new.

My first was a '68 Nova, three on the tree and was an oil burner too. Paid $300 cash.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
No doubt, that was a light car, as was the Nova (basically the same car).

My brother had a '70 Beetle POS that he would put his race motor in at the end of the season. One night, on College Ave in Appleton, a Camaro was dicking with him at a stop light. He watched the light on the cross street...when it turned yellow, he brought the revs to about 3k. When he got a green, he sidestepped the clutch. The next light, the Camaro pulled up and asked him what he had in his POS. He then went directly home...he had broken his motor mounts and the engine/trans kept pulling the throttle as it all moved around.

Oh there will be some mods all right
You'll be happy to know that didn't actually kill it lol. It was worse for wear after that but some massaging, poking, and prodding made it able to accept a windshield again and was completely drivable :D

Funny story, not long after high school I had an early 90s Dodge Colt. Rotors were pulsing. Went to change them and found out that they were pressed into the spindle. Even back then I thought that was stupid. Anyway, had to take off the spindle and it became a multi-day thing to find a place to press it off the rotor and put on a new one.

But here’s the fun part. I had read on the new-fangled internets about “properly” bedding in the brakes. So I carefully went through the bedding in procedure. Apparently, not quite correctly. I immediatly warped the new rotors the same day I finished the job.

The brakes pulsed for the rest of my ownership of that vehicle lol

Well. Damned if you do. Damned if you don't.

There weren't any other bolt holes in the rotor or back of the hub?
I've seen where you can use another bolt, threaded through the back of the hub, to push out the rotor.

The last coworkers car had a flat head bolt on the face of the rotor. We were sitting there whacking the rotor with a rubber mallet, wondering why it isn't coming off...
Like, "Hey, what's that bolt for?"

I've only owned 4 vehicles, two of which are my current Toyotas.

First car from high school was a 2005 Ford Escape - had that for 9 years before it started rusting away on me. Great little CUV, I barely managed to maintain it. Knew nothing about cars, typical driver just going from A to B. Held up really well.

I then got a Dodge Challenger in my mid-20s, once I started making some money, and had it for 2 years. I wanted a fun car while I was young and single. It sure was fun, but a massive financial mistake - the thing tanked in value faster than I could pay it off. But, it got me interested in cars and modding them. Traded it for the Tacoma in 2019.

...one thing lead to another and the natural progression was to get a right hand drive turbo diesel :D

    @McSpazatron That's why I still have 1 upper ball joint for a 1st gen.

The 1st (bad) one was such a pita, I didn't bother with the other.
The press kit I used didn't exactly have the right size for the ubj.

Believe me, I was in disbelief when I checked with some mechanic friends, but they were for realz pressed on. I witnessed them being pressed off and the new ones being pressed on with a hydraulic press. I guess even back then some cars were meant to be disposable.

Seen lotta no safeties brother took off stuff.. awesome ingenuity.

Fixed my taco lean with a spacer last night.
Should have some (waterproof) relays for the chase lights today.
Then I'll be ready for KenTWucky25.
