I finally got around to diagnosing the problem with my 4WD. Turned out to be a blown locking hub on the passenger side.

    https://youtube.com/shorts/3ODxh-S8e80?si=I7tWtqsF0xufnm8Q

Getting the old hub out was a serious PITA. The plastic bits that were supposed to keep it all together were shredded in little pieces.
I’m pretty sure the seal that makes the vacuum auto lock work is also bad, but I lack the test equipment to diagnose that problem. For now if I need 4WD I’ll just have to get out and engage it the old fashion way.

Excuse me if I'm mistaken, or if I'm right and someone has already posted this. I seem to remember some of you on this form posting about your battles with moles, and some of the various solutions you tried. Behold.....

Morning y'all leaf blower has been idle since late Tuesday morning. High winds and neighbors complaining :rant:about dust has kept me inside with the pressure washing crew.
Yunz have a good day today.

Been pressure washing the last few days inside, been too windy outside for leaf blower.
Today should be much better without wind. Hope I work outside.

Borrowed a splitter from a buddy to get a start on the mtn of wood I need to split.

These brush forks are handy as hell. I am just roll the wood onto them, park level with splitter, then just roll the wood into the splitter. These were pretty good size oak rounds that are still kinda green been cut about 3 months

My buddy brought this tractor back that I worked on last year, has some hydraulic leaks and the bucket cylinders need rebuilding. I had to wash the leak areas so I can see where it is actually leaking and decided the whole thing needed a bath.

My buddy picked that blade up when he dropped his tractor off, he's already sandblasted it and primed it with powdercoat.

Got out to Shantytown yesterday and immediately got drowned by the water truck. After lunch the bobcat skid steer came down and cleaned out the ditch. Then moved some pipe to get some pipe bundles that fell into the ditch which was keeping the water from flowing.
Today it's back to the river oasis. Gonna be about 77° this afternoon after a 39° start to the day.
Hope everyone has a good day today and stay safe.
