    It'd be nice if they fixed the issues. I've been having trouble with CarPlay audio since iOS 18. If I have audio playing and then make a call, the audio stutters once the call ends and I have to force-quite and restart whatever app was playing it on my phone. Googling indicates it's not just me.

    Too bad I still do not see signs of a Toyota firmware to fix how often one has to re-select bluetooth to use CarPlay. That only occurs when our same devices are in the Tacoma vs other vehicles.

    I agree. I've only noticed this happen occasionally. It definitely got better once I set up two profiles, set particular phones as the primary in each profile, and attached the profiles to each key. Still does happen once in a while, though.

    That's one of the reasons I posted. Hopefully Apple is aware and will be addressing these issues.
