I do FSR at least once a month and some other mild off roading. My OEM tires were Goodyear AT with Kevlar, almost 45,000KM on them and been really happy with them, they do get aired down to 20 PSI when off pavement, I will upgrade before my trip this summer, looking at either Falken Wildpeak AT or Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT. I definitely want 3 ply sidewalls

Thank you. I appreciate the perspective and do recognize the risk you mention. :proposetoast:

fwiw it does have a spring loaded plunger pin.. although I'm unsure it'd save full swing on a side-to-side hill. Once finished.. if it seems like an issue I'll just weld in a stop at something like 120 degrees (or whatever angle will keep the arm out of oncoming traffic.)

    :welder:

The hinge is sold by various retailers.. it's probably overkill.

When ordering, my advice is to buy several of these at a time. They seem to get broken when the truck gets put on the lift. Go figure...

I noticed the same thing on my truck. After wiping it off and inspecting the area thoroughly I came to the conclusion that it was from oil that was spilled during an oil change onto my skid plate, then being mixed with debris and deposited here when I drove the truck.

That is a drain. The dealership busted my passenger side one on the second (and last) oil change they did. I replaced mine however I don't recall the part number. Having had a rusty first gen I would think it's somewhat important or it would not be there

What roof rack is that? Don’t see many for the AC.

Also, what topper did you go with and how do you like it so far?

    TIA

It's a Victory 4x4. I think there are only 3 manufacturers that make an access cab rack. I bought from them because I'm so happy with their front bumper. The topper is a Leer 180. It's my first Leer, they aren't cheap, but I would buy again.

thanks man! Ordering this right now, i bought the Rennline equivalent mount for my M2 and love it, made the cupholder unit seem outdated and like a waste of space. Question-why did you do the quad lock over the magnet mount they sell?

Hi! I use a quad lock case my iphone and have had this mounting head on my previous phone mount. Its pretty secure, but honestly, i haven’t even tried the mount mount it came with. I may switch it up and see whats up.

After a month using it for trips to Home Depot for a bathroom renovation project and a failed sump pump added in for a bonus project, gave it a much needed washing along with a Turtle Wax Graphene waxing.20250313_155747.jpg

Why do you like this? I`m using MOTHER Ceramic coat wax on mine and i like the finish it gives my truck.
Is this better than spray wax? Should i try it?
    TIA

The truck looks dang good. What I did was pricey but I got Modesta Diamond coating done on mine. They kept it for three days cause it had to be cured under ultraviolet light. Hell the bugs mostly wash off with the hose. Last for 8-10 years if garage kept. No more waxing !!!! The only draw back is it should be hand washed but beats hand waxing.

I do like it but I'm no expert of the pros/cons of this or other products. It seem to last pretty well...still looked fine and beaded up the same from last autumn's application but warmer temps got me wanting to get the winter grime off.
