That doesn’t seem good. Though that should be in no part from what we did.

Your radar cruise shenanigans might be out of whack.

I might be able to read the codes if it goes to OBD2.

I've never seen anything like that. Any time mine malfunctions (mainly during rain) it just gives me the "sensor unavailable" message in the middle. Maybe something with the newer tech I guess.

I don't get it either, if it has anything to do with the lift, all I can think of is with the front so stiff that it has loosened something up. It does porpus a lot at slow speeds

Looks like it happens sporadically with lifts. Looks like it wouldn't throw a code that OBD2 would pick up so I can't really do anything for you there.

First I'd say take the negative terminal off the battery and let the shenanigans all reset (hit the power button on the truck with the negative disconnected to power out any caps, if there are any that would actually do anything for, I haven't a clue). See if it comes back or just needed a swift kick in the ass.

Im hoping to touch up my rack where some of the paint/coating has been scraped off. I plan to hit the local auto parts store to find a paint pen, is there anything I should be looking for? I really don't want to take the rack off to fix.

    Roof rack?

If yours is the same as mine, the side panels are steel, the brackets are steel, and the cross bars are extruded aluminum. I would just hit it with rattlecan bedliner or farm paint, to be honest. Black bedliner is probably a pretty close match.

    This full-length aluminum roof rack

Sounds like big black sharpie is on the shopping list, off to Wally world instead.

    Aluminum side panels?

Yeah we have used black sharpie to patch aluminum too, big black sharpie it is. It's PC'd aluminum sides, annodized cross bars.

I’ve got to touch up the 4 corners of my ForeRunner cab rack, they’ve started to oxidize (some sort of alloy, paint failed before the rest which is extrusion or sheet). I think doing it probably for me would mean the pita removal process and good prep and rattle-can. Might hit just the corners with bed-liner.
It’s also probably about time those bolts got broken free and checked. Warm weather work.IMG_3683.jpg
