    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
I would run some Subaru coolant sauce in it. Leaking head gaskets are part of life on some models.

Honestly, 31s-33s are a really fun size for being able to go a ton of places but also not having to worry about reliability.

I tubbed so 37s would fit but 35s are really pushing the mechanical limits as it is.

Yup. It moves but because it's 4.88 geared and only 31's it also screams.

Is the body & interior decent? I've always wanted a 1st gen 4Runner... :anonymous:

My mind says one thing at a time... but you know how that goes. It would be a temporary thing for me, I've wanted one but really I'd like to fully doll one up entirely and then gift it to my Dad. I know he likes them and I think he misses having a classic vehicle around. That one is a bonus cause he could drive it year round but still have the convertible I know he wants basically in the summer.

No I was just curious. I may just try to cut my losses with the Xterra and get back at least part of my money.

Not to dig too deep, but what was the rationale for buying an xterra over fixing the truck anyway? Feel like the truck could've been on the road again for less than you paid for that even if you paid a shop for all the work

It's fair condition, a toss up between being a rebuildable daily or a trail rig. Most of the interior is still there and the body is pretty straight but it got a cheap respray at some point and it's flaking and losing the battle and rust was left untreated like near the wheel wells.

Not really but it's old and the front axle needs a rebuild. I was replacing the body mounts and some were seized so I didn't get to finish it yet.

It's got an ARB bumper and custom rear bumper now but otherwise the same. Except the cheap clear coat is now flaking off from poor prep work.

Plus I had to drop off the pooch at the vet for her latest shot and a physical

Needs it sooner than later for when she stays at a pet hotel next month when we're out of town

    Gotcha

What'd the guy say? Or you haven't seen him yet?

Have you burped it since you said it tested fine on a pressure check? Could still be blown due to the bubbling but still, doesn't hurt to try and burp it especially if you're not losing coolant
