2017 Tacoma with 32000 miles rear differential leaking.
Auto Nation in Orlando and Toyota of America won't fix it under a recall.
and they want $185.00 an hour for labour.
I have had Toyota trucks for the last 30 years, and I wanted this truck to be my last ( Im 80 years old ).
PS. This truck was purchased new by me in 2017.

I see this as a 2 issue post.
Issue 1 - Your one message was to tell us you are leaving?
That's like walking into a restaurant and stating that you will not be eating here and then walking out - where as the rest of us just walk past that restaurant and go to the next one.

Issue 2 - Your rear diff is leaking.
Have you considered snugging up the bolts?
Have you looked at a different shop? $tealerhips are called that for a reason.
Having things leak at the 32k mark isn't unheard of but it also isn't the end of the world. I mean if your engine blew and threw a rod then maybe that's something. But I got a leak?

Post #1931 shows the rear end TSB I had done in 2017. Lots of good info in the TSB if you are going to address it yourself or take it to a shop.

These things can be frustrating especially as we get older, Auto Nation? I’m assuming that you got your truck used? With a low 32,000 miles if you can’t get it fixed under any sort of recall or warranty, I think it would definitely be more cost effective and better for you to just get your truck fixed and just keep this truck.
