About a year ago I inherited the first gun I ever shot, a .22. I tried it the other day and realized that my current.22 has far more usefulness with a scope.

Any of you guys want a light bar. Got it for free a couple years back. I’m never going to use it. It worked when I got it. Might need a wire harness. Tried selling for cheap awhile back no bites.

The elephant gun shooting match I do twice a year, I use a .375 H&H Magnum in a synthetic stock. It's a 50 rd shoot. Buddy has the same gun in the factory stock. That extra mass really tames the recoil. It's really fun shooting as fast as you can run the bolt, reload twice and get back on target. My shoulder will ache for a day.

Shooting a .577 double gun will rock your world. Thing looks like 20 ga., that shoots a really big bullet.

By saying it's a ghost gun, my assumption is that the lower doesn't have a serial number. That's why I made the lower remark, a serialized lower would take the gray out of the picture. Being a printer, you know it's all about the grays. ;)

A buddy of mine saw Tommy Tutone in Appleton, at a bowling alley about 7-8 years ago. He said it was a good show.

Super professional...that post was the highly abridged version. It got to the point after arguing for a few minutes, that I finally said: Listen, it's quite clear you don't want to do it. Take it down off the rack and I'll quit wasting your time.

He was pissed that I took "his parking space" when I pulled into the parking lot.

At one point he swore he never did Jason's truck and that he remembered Dan's truck...but that was a whole different exhaust system...much easier to work with.

Sounds like a real piece of work. I can't imagine talking to a customer like that.

If I had access to a tubing bender, I'd effing do it myself. Sure, it would be a bit putzy getting the angles right, but it wouldn't be that bad. A person that knows their bender could probably get it in less than an hour.

That is disappointing to hear Rich, sorry you had trouble but thanks for sharing. I was planning to eventually bring mine there too but looks like they no longer want our business.

Anybody know of a good resource to understand how to fabricate with tubing? Like good youtube channels or books? I’d love to invest in a tube bender and die or two but I have a hard time with the geometry and math involved to get angles and dimensions.

Watching some of these fabrication car shows is nice because you get to see people just do things off hand and make adjustments on the fly, but that would be an expensive way for a noob to learn with all the mistakes and scrapped materials costs. Seems like it would be a better idea to do some learnin.

Having just purchased a tubing bender with some grant money I can say it is not easy to do. The company suggests that a series of practice bends have to be made to learn the process and the amount that the tube pulls as it bends. They give suggestions by tubing size but you have to waste some material... I wasted several feet of tubing getting to a comfort level to bend my nose ring. Even that wasn't perfect... Close though. Problem is, everything I learned is going away as I don't use the thing everyday...

I haven't even turned the welder on yet and I'm getting as far as you, on my transfer case.

Just went through a couple shoe boxes of old receipts and crap that the wife pulled out of the closet. Found a really old BestBuy gift card with $3.98 balance on it and a $10 Amazon gift card from 2020. BOOYAH! I'm going shopping! :spending:

Speaking of shopping, when are y'all going to open a store in Madison? I stopped in at one of your stores today, I think it was Brookfield, and damn! That was bout as good a place as Whole Foods was before Bezos destroyed it.
