Well, I'm a little behind when it comes to generations...but whats new. Finally upgraded to a 3rd gen, and I love it.

Congrats! Honestly Ive gotten more attached to my 3rd gen. Maybe its the thought of getting an expensive car note again and a higher insurance payment, but the 4th gen doesnt look as appealing anymore.

Same here. I occasionally look at new stuff online, I was recently looking at the new generation of the F150 raptor. But that price tag and the reliability of my 3rd gen would make that an incredibly stupid purchase lol

especially since my truck is paid off as well.

a few things, and some vinyl....
I drove a 4th gen a few weeks ago. I've never been a huge "creature comfort" person when it comes to my vehicles. The one I drove felt about as peppy as my 2nd gen, and had less rear legroom. I'll stay with what I have for now :)

Just going to chime in from the cheap seats here since I've had some time behind the wheel of the new LC. I looked at and drove the 4th Gen when I was car shopping, and about the only thing I liked was the motor/trans on the hybrid model. Otherwise, I think they ruined the interior but that is totally subjective. The LC feels/looks so much more refined, especially on the interior, and the motor/trans/hybrid is a fantastic set up. Creature comforts are great...almost too good. I agree on the car note bit...that was a tough pill to swallow, but worth every penny IMO. Loving this thing.

Not that you guys are shopping the LC250, but I wanted to give additional perspective on the new 4 banger hybrid and transmission (basically identical to the new Taco hybrid) and that I agree on the 4th Gen. If I didn't grab the LC, I'd still be driving my old 3rd Gen.

Did you happen to give the GX550 a spin? I've been eyeballin' one for awhile now.

I did not. I sat in one at the auto show, but that doesn't count. I figured the motor was similar to the Tundra. Honestly, I like the interior of the LC better and the fact that it has actual buttons for controls, not integrated into the touch screen. Plus...Land Cruiser (even if it is the Prado line). Totally a "me" decision, as I am sure the GX is fantastic as well. Plus that Nori green...

Edit: to add that the LC does NOT lack for power at all, plus there is zero turbo lag thanks to the hybrid. I'm sure the GX sounds better, lol.

Edit #2: to say that I kind of wish the Nori green would have been available for the LC. Definitely would have been my color of choice. Outside of that, I think I chose the best color (subjective again) in Meteor Shower. Looks so different depending on lighting...sometimes silver, sometimes light bronze, and reflects the sunlight/sky very well.

Funny you say that. I knew way more about the LC than my salesman did.

Soooooo. Anyone want a brand new Harbor Freight 60 inch farm jack (Hi Lift)?

Bought it, tested it, remembered how dangerous they are, regretted it.

    Come get it. It's free!

Same! I have the Hi Lift version with off-road plate...definitely not new, but works. Free to a good home (or someone braver than me).

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I should do the same. Mounted it, took it out once to lube it, put it back. It just sits back there making noise.

Is anyone looking to offload a RTT and Rack for the Short bed? The biggest downside to the short bed was losing my camping setup with the cap.
