I think I'm probably staying on FSR's, so I won't really be riding hard.
Noice. Riding into work this morning made me realize how much at peace I am when I get to ride.

so a few of you prob have seen my buddies old 78 goldwing he took up a mountain with me ya?
well he sold that bike and bought a 85 aspencade and is selling that because he found a love for these old yamaha ventures from the 80s. he has a 1300 thats very nice and all put together and a 1200 that is a bunch of parts but does run! he got the 1200 for dirt cheap and wanted to do something silly with it so here it is! an offroad yamaha venture lol
    upload_2025-3-14_10-3-38.jpg
atm he has been having fun powdercoating random colors on it because he gets bored working on other bits. he has some more work he plans to do and make it more adventure bike look but he is having fun with this 400 dollar bike lol

I want the visibility. With having done long distance rallies and riding a decent amount during dark hours I do as much as I can to make myself visible to other drivers. I'm also not a big fan of black wheels and prefer a lighter color. Yu can see below how the tape really "glows" from a flash or lighting.

Almost wrapped up and ready for a pre-COTA shake down. Waiting for one last delivery that should arrive today, then I can get the bodywork back on and take it for a ride. Also my new side panel stripes were a pain in the dick to apply, but they look so sick!

I’ve printed a couple similar devices. They usually work pretty well, but depending on the type of lube you use they can clog up over time. Really nice for controlling over spray though

Meh, i am too cheap to buy something like that vs just bending the stray and spraying with direction of travel as i spin rear tire.

Only bike i lube the chain with spray lube is the dirtbike... and i really DGAF about overspray there.

XT225 gets 95wt gear oil brushed on its non o ring chain here n there

Super tenere laughs at chain drive peasants

I just got a can of Honda lube from the local store
I've used another "sprayer tip" and put it on the other end to spray downwards. It worked......so I don't really have a reason for buying the oinker

I'm not doing that. Prop it up and just spray :D Learned just how nice these things are back in 2000 with the GSXR.

    New mirrors and headlamp.
Got a dirt bike headlight with led lenses. Better than the square headlight it had for sure.
