Check the bushings at the bottom of the shocks where they bolt to the lower control arm. That is most likely where the noise is coming from if its a Fox issue. There are a lot of places that can cause that noise though. Body mounts under the core support, UCA, LCA, skid plate...all possibilities.

Thanks guys. It’s going in for service in a couple weeks so we’ll see what they say. I was just wondering if anyone had the Fox coilovers replaced under warranty for this issue like a lot of the 4Runner guys have.

Ive had the klunk for the last 2 winters. My truck is out of warranty, so I think I’ll try the bolts listed above as I’ve eliminated other sources of the noise.

    This and that
Had so many knocks, rattles and rolls. Tightened everything. Last time it was some carabiners in the bed.

My ‘21 TRD Pro suspension knocks occasionally in cold weather, also speaks and squishes - a bit like my body does as it gets older. Growing old with my truck I guess! Although, truck is at 48k miles, probably going to do a shock rebuild at some point and a knee replacement!

I tried these bolts, and it's fixed my knock/clunk! The OEM bolts removed didn't show much wear so I wasn't hopeful that the new bolts would do much, but they have 100% fixed the noise. I've had them in for a few months now and the noise has not come back.

Thank you eurowner / 303 shock services!

I'll have to try this. I'm getting an occasional knock/clunk from the front pax side.
