    Hi
I had my rear view mirror ripped out when my windshield was crushed. Got the new windshield installed. The clip or tap (not sure the right name) that connects to the back of the inside rear view mirror broke. I still have plenty of wire coming out from the headliner, I just don’t have that silly little part! Toyota doesn’t seem to sell this. Their only recommendation was to replace the entire run of wire by taking the headliner out, rewiring then install headliner. Like $2500!
Does anyone know what? How? Where I could find anything about this part.
AND I live on a small island with no car junk yards, so I can’t just try to find one there.
Thanks in advance for any help.
