Erratic idle

Anyone had their 3rd Gen start idling erratically? My tacoma constantly idles up and down between 800 and 1k rpm. I changed my plugs and it didn't help... But I used Bosh plugs instead of the Denso ones. Could that be the problem or maybe a vacuum leak. IAC valve?
It's the V6 with 140k miles on it btw.

 

Most common cause of a constant up and down idle rpm is a vacuum leak. A fuel issue (failing pump, clogged injectors) could cause this as well. Id start with looking for a vacuum leak.

 

Easiest way is to just spray some starter fluid and see what jumps! lol

 

Fuel injection cleaning and clean the mass air flow sensor . You can start with the cheap one the mass air flow sensor .

 

Here is the fuel pump recall if you are also smelling fuel around the engine bay. Your 2016 is covered for 10 years regardless of mileage.
