Always sucks Richie. My dad was a accident investigator for a shipping company for 2 years in the 80s... Quit the second he could. Never ever gets easier.

I'm getting a vibration at around 30kmh and 50kmh. Happens in 2wd and 4wd. Goes away at other speeds and isn't tire/alignment related. Anyone experienced this? It could probably be several things, because of course it can, but I think some are only present in 2wd

Usually the front needle bearing in the diff can cause vibration but if memory serves me correctly it usually goes away in 4wd. Drive shaft u joints come to mind but those usually cause vibration to worsen as speed goes up? Easy enough to check the u joints and carrier bearing.

Spare tire had to be removed ( maybe if it was a stock tire I could have got past it) so I could get the pipe over the back axle.
Sounds a wee bit different...not really noticeable. We'll see what a cold start is like.

Ujoints! Mine died last summer. Very similar feeling. Easy enough to test

    1. Flat surface, place truck in neutral
    2. Put on parking brake
    3. Place truck in park (this assured you have slack in the drivetrain)
    4. Roll under the truck and start twisting (or prying) the driveshaft looking for slack in the joints. There should be minimal (sub 3mm)
