If your shell doesn't have insulation inside I would consider finding a relatively thin and flexible carpeting and epoxying to the ceiling and walls.

With pets or sleeping back there.. I'd cut a hole in the top of the shell for a Fantastic fan (or MaxxAir) and heavily caulk it with 3M 4200. Perhaps some clever individual should come up with a side window fan mount so the top could remain clear for rooftop storage.

Yikes! Cut a hole! I actually own a MaxxAir from my first trailer. I was thinking side window if that’s even possible

Congrats! The high-top Leer should serve you well.

I love my new (used) shell! I'm cool with the 2-tone look although I still do a double take! Now, to find and buy my RV trailer!

I love the topper you have on your 1st gen! I am in the search for a high-rise shell, what model is yours? Was it easy to find?

I bought that style shell from Leer in 93. i havent seen those on the road in 20 years. but i loved it: great for camping. and the bigger door opening is handy for hauling bigger items too. great for bikes
