33’s stock suspension 2nd gen &3rd gen

First off let’s get this out of the way, suspension lift dose not help you clear taller tires. Up travel is determined by bump stops, lift coils have nothing to do with that and only add down travel. The key to fitting 33’s stock without cutting the crap out of fenders body mount and other things is to run a wheel very close to factory offset and don’t try and fit wider because you increase your scrub radius or will rub your uca. If you really want to do this I highly recommend watching tinkerer adventure on YouTube, you will understand how the ifs actually works. Dude shoved 37’s under stock 2nd gen tundra without a lift or bmc just had to remove the sway bar. Definitely worth a watch. I have 255/80/r17 ( true 33” tall 10” wide) with 5th gen 4Runner OR wheels on stock suspension and no rub at full stuff and wheel lock

The dude you’re talking about is Kai, and his videos debunk a lot of the bs other people just say. I’m on 35”s stock uca, lca and only on 1” lift.

 

4h tell it slipped rear driver, could have kept going with more skinny pedal but just a simple flex for y’all

I hadn't noticed those wheels before, and they might be my new favorite. Uncomplicated but attractive.
