Much easier to just buy the tire/rim combo. Faster, too.

If you feel like fixing the original for a spare, there is that option as well.

Diaphragm type carb? Pull, replace the diaphragm, they cost me about buck each. One tiny crack is all that is needed for them not to work. Ethanol will dry it out and ruin them.

I'm still running a 1972 Simplicity snow blower, other then 2 belts, it's just needed a couple diaphragms over the years. Last time I bought a couple and stuck the spares in a sealed plastic bag.

I've changed tires on mowers and wheelbarrows and so on. A pair of tire irons, some kind of lubricant, and a bit of patience is what you need. I tend to not even bother trying to get them to seal and just put a tube in right away.

i dont think its a diaphragm carb. its an aluminum tube with a straw to the tank and a needle jet. not that ive removed it and put it back it has a slight intake leak. you can see a little fuel weep after a few pulls.

Drop it by the house. I have a manual lawn tractor size tire machine.
I use it for the snowblowers I fix. Seriously, you can do it yourself. Couple of flat bars and some “rim ease”.

Tractor supply should have everything you need.
But I would have a spare kept it the shed/shop just in case.

I made a couple of tire spoons out of bigger old screwdrivers. Worked great. I was a nice guy and now I don’t have them.

There's only one person that is allowed to borrow my personal tools, and that's the way I like it.

At work it can be a PITA to track down my tools. Even though my employer pays for all tools (and they let you get good stuff too, Knipek, Klein, Proto, etc.) I engrave my initials or wrap stuff in pink electrical tape, I still manage to have to track them down if there's a bunch of tools out on a break down. I haven't lost my grease gun yet though. I ordered a new one and promptly sanded down and spray painted it purple. All the guys made fun of me, but I can keep good track of it
