Yeah I hear you on that. Did you call that streetsideauto, and see if you can get the EPi9.0s or the Talon w/ the syn line for these lower prices we've seen and get the $55 off...they always do free shipping.

Well I was shopping them and they will match Amazon and then I can get that $55 off with that coupon. The only question I now have is do I go for the talon and spend a little more but get all the newest latest greatest, or do I go for the epi 9 and get what jason is saying to get the job done and in some cases be better and still have a sealed solenoid? Decisions Decisions.

I don't think the integrated Talon will fit. Talon height-10.66” Epi9.0S-9.84". Mine barely fits so I'd be surprised if you could get the Talon to fit.

I'll try to get pics of mine to show you how close it is. To see the correct specs on the epi click on the manual. The ones posted on their site are the same as the non integrated one. It's not 7. something inches tall. That's what got me into thinking it would just drop in.

you need to stay away from integrated solenoids. They're too tall for the bumper; theres 8" of clearance in the bumper.

Not sure if this pic is good enough. It doesn't really show how it tucks behind the bottom of the grille.

    Maybe this is better?

Well I wont have the bumper on for a couple of weeks so I will have to take eric's advice on this one.

So basically that just means I need to get a non i model right? like a 9.5

I believe so. That Talon definitely wouldn't fit in mine. I can't even get my index finger between the solenoid and a rib on the bottom of the grill.

Well from what eric is saying it sounds like I will have to relocate it any ways so I am wondering now if I should just go with the ep9.0 and upgrade the line. That would put me right at 800$$

Well I haven't heard of any of the ep's crapping out from not having a sealed motor.

Good point. I always worry about buying something without a few years worth of feedback.

yeah and from what I've read everybody is pleased with the ep series but I'd be surprised if you had trouble with the Talon and if you did Superwinch would be there to help.

Kind of late but these might also be useful to singlefin

You can see where I had to notch the bottom of the grill and also how close it is and why I can't say if it will work with others bumpers. If the mounting plate were forward a half inch it would eat the grill. Heck, I can't even be sure if it would work with all CBI's bumpers, I don't know the tolerances they are made to.
