Wood mount arrives soon, then I'll just have to cut and weld up the mount and backrest and it's done.

100% would run that on an around-town bike.

Probably would not run that on a mountain bike anymore.

I do have a handful of old XT/XTR bits stashed in my garage.

Sure is tempting isn't it? I know I want more things but I started on the LC rewiring project so...

I received my first two orders today.

 

I ordered new exhaust manifolds and gaskets tonight. Less than $500. I would have bought Doug Thorley but I hear about misc fitment issues. I don't have time to mess with custom parts that don't fit. These OEMs will last another 20 years.

 

people who press the old LCA bushing sleeve out with the rest of the rubber must be god’s chosen. After beating the shit out of them with a cold chisel and map pro torch for a few hours I got to press the whitelines in
