So I’m exploring the possibilities of getting some TE37xt’s for my 2012 Tacoma in 17x8 size but I’m not sure the offset I want/can run. The offsets I’m looking at are 0 and +20. I plan on mounting Mickey Thompson 255/85/17s and I know want the highest positive offset possible to minimize scrub radius and rubbing but I’m not sure if a +20 offset will fit on my Tacoma. I’m mainly concerned with backspacing which would increase to 5.29 over the stock 16s 4.98 as well as the tire touching the UAC. I’ve been referencing Tinkerer’s Adventure on YouTube for the tire size/positive offset.

I would run the 0 offset, the +20 is for the 4th gen trucks.

Right, I don't know how some of you all do it. $225k household, both our measley RXh and Taco are paid off, mortgage aint crazy ($2600) and the nanny that commands mortgage equivalent, I dream of having some toys in the garage besides my MX bike, just want to know what you all do for a living cause I'm jealous, at almost 40 feeling I f-d up somewhere seeing some of you all's things.

yeah they make them in 17 inch. If I had a 4th gen I would go with the TE37SB.

Weird don't see an +20 in 17'', eh, probably holding onto my turd gen for the foreseeable future and snagging a play car next.

    It was a joke.

But the point stands... there are people that live high on the hog, and those that barely scrape by. Just depends where you're looking.
